Brevidy versions on a team
Keep your team on Brevidy 1.9 or 2.0, give members the beta, and what members see when an admin sets the version.
Team admins choose which Brevidy version members get when they install or update. Members see a change the next time Brevidy opens.
Set the team's version (admins)#
- Go to brevidy.pro/organization.
- In the
Brevidy versioncard, pick an option.
| Option | What members get |
|---|---|
Latest — every new release | Each new stable release. The default. |
Stay on 1.9 — 1.9 fixes only | Brevidy 1.9 and its fixes. No 2.0 updates. |
Stay on 2.0 — 2.0 fixes only | Brevidy 2.0 and its fixes, but not the next version. |
The Devices table below the card shows the version on each member's computers.
A lock never rolls a computer back. Members on a newer version keep it, and their updates pause. To move them to 1.9, they use Go back to 1.9.
On an organization with several teams, the organization dashboard has the same card for every team that doesn't set its own.
Give one member a different version (admins)#
- Go to brevidy.pro/organization.
- Click the member's name in the team list.
- Under
Brevidy version, pick an option.
| Option | What they get |
|---|---|
Follow team (…) | The team's setting. The default. |
No lock — latest release | Each new stable release, whatever the team uses. |
Beta — newest beta | Each new beta. |
Team members can't join the beta program themselves. An admin sets them to Beta — newest beta.
