Beta program

Join the Brevidy beta on a personal plan to get new versions before everyone else.

Beta members get new versions of Brevidy first. Betas are tested but can have rough edges. The beta is for personal Captioner and Producer plans, including trials. On a team, your admin decides your version. See Brevidy versions on a team.

Join the beta#

Click your account picture, then Settings.
Under Beta program, click Join the beta.
When the update window shows a Beta badge, click Update now. To check sooner, click the version number at the bottom of the panel.
Restart Premiere.

You can also use the Beta program switch on your Account page.

Leave the beta#

Click your account picture, then Settings.
Under Beta program, click Leave the beta.

You keep the version you have until a newer stable version comes out. To go back to 1.9, see Go back to 1.9.

Good to know#

A computer has one version of Brevidy, so joining makes your installed Brevidy the beta.
