This Privacy Policy explains how PLUGIN PLAY LLC, doing business as Brevidy ("Brevidy," "Plugin Play," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you use our website, dashboard, Adobe Premiere Pro extension, and related services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process in connection with:

  • the Brevidy website
  • the Brevidy user dashboard and account portal
  • free trials, subscriptions, and team accounts
  • the Brevidy Adobe Premiere Pro extension
  • support interactions
  • community preset functionality
  • AI-assisted features such as captioning-related tools, AutoCut, AI highlight suggestions, media suggestions, and AutoCrop

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party sites, products, or services that are not controlled by us, even if they are linked from or integrated with the Services.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your use of the Services, and from service providers that help us operate the Services.

A. Information You Provide Directly

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • account credentials and authentication-related information
  • billing and subscription information
  • team, workspace, seat, and organization information
  • customer support communications
  • feedback, survey responses, and feature requests
  • presets you create, save, share, or publish
  • transcripts, prompts, project-related inputs, and other content you submit through the Services

B. Content and Project Data You Submit or Generate

Depending on the feature you use, we may collect and process:

  • full video files submitted for AutoCrop
  • rendered audio files submitted for captioning or transcription workflows
  • transcripts, including previously generated transcripts used for AutoCut, AI-suggested highlights, or media suggestions
  • sequence metadata and project metadata submitted to support product functionality
  • prompts and feature inputs
  • generated captions, subtitle files, suggested clips, reframing data, and similar outputs
  • presets and preset metadata, including shared team presets and community presets where you choose to publish them

C. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves. We may receive limited billing information, such as billing contact details, subscription status, payment confirmations, and similar transaction metadata.

D. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:

  • IP address
  • browser type and version
  • device identifiers
  • operating system
  • general location derived from IP
  • timestamps and access logs
  • crash reports and diagnostics
  • usage events, feature interactions, and performance data
  • referral URLs and page visits on the marketing site

5. How We Use Customer Content

We use Customer Content and related project data to provide, operate, maintain, secure, support, troubleshoot, and improve the Services, including product performance, reliability, quality assurance, and feature functionality.

We do not use Customer Content, Outputs, transcripts, prompts, audio, video, or similar project materials to train machine learning or AI models unless we separately disclose that practice and obtain any permissions required by applicable law or contract.

Aggregated and De-Identified Data

We may use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information for analytics, security, operations, and service improvement, provided that such information does not identify you personally.

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing, we generally rely on one or more of the following:

  • performance of a contract with you
  • legitimate interests, such as operating, securing, improving, and supporting the Services
  • compliance with legal obligations
  • your consent, where required
  • protection of vital interests where applicable

Our legitimate interests may include fraud prevention, security, customer support, product analytics, service improvement, and internal administration.

7. When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • with service providers and subprocessors that help us operate the Services
  • with vendors that help us provide authentication, billing, hosting, storage, analytics, error monitoring, AI functionality, media functionality, and infrastructure

  • Supabase for authentication and certain backend/data functionality
  • Stripe for payment processing and subscription billing
  • Vercel for hosting and web infrastructure
  • Modal for certain machine learning and processing pipelines
  • Google Analytics for marketing-site analytics
  • Meta Pixel for marketing-site attribution and advertising analytics
  • Sentry for bug reporting, crash monitoring, diagnostics, and performance monitoring
  • ElevenLabs Scribe, Gladia, and AssemblyAI for transcription-related functionality and redundancy
  • OpenRouter for large language model routing and related AI functionality
  • Giphy, Pexels, Pixabay, Openverse, and Unsplash for third-party media sourcing or integration
  • third-party emoji or similar asset ecosystems, including assets commonly associated with Facebook, Google, X/Twitter, and Apple environments, where surfaced through the product or related workflows

These providers may change over time. We may also use infrastructure, CDN, storage, logging, or security vendors that support the above systems.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We currently use cookies, analytics tags, pixels, and similar technologies primarily on the marketing site, not for broad advertising tracking inside the product experience.

At this time, this includes tools such as:

  • Google Analytics
  • Meta Pixel

We use these technologies to:

  • understand traffic and site usage
  • measure marketing effectiveness
  • improve the marketing site
  • support attribution and campaign performance analysis

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect site functionality.

10. Retention of Information

We retain content and project data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, support users, maintain security, comply with law, and operate the business. Retention periods may vary by feature, plan type, and operational needs. Where we publish feature-specific or plan-specific retention windows, those windows describe our general targets and may be subject to backups, security logs, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or other legitimate operational needs.

Account and Billing Data

We typically retain account, transaction, and subscription records for as long as needed to operate the account, provide support, maintain business records, prevent fraud, and comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

Presets and Shared Content

Presets you publish to community areas or share in team environments may remain available until deleted by you, removed by an administrator, removed by us for policy reasons, or deleted under our retention practices.

Please note that backups and security logs may persist for a limited time after deletion from active systems.

11. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and may process or store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.

If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of legal protection as your home jurisdiction.

Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for using the Services in a secure manner.

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Deletion requests are subject to:

  • our need to retain certain information for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, billing, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes
  • backup and archival limitations

At this time, account deletion and related data deletion requests are handled by email request.

18. Marketing Communications

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send transactional or service-related communications such as billing notices, support responses, product notices, and account updates.

19. Third-Party Content and Media Rights

The Services may help you access or use third-party media. We are not responsible for how you choose to use third-party media or whether your intended use is properly licensed.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of any third-party content, including stock media, emojis, graphics, or similar assets, complies with applicable licenses, laws, and platform rules.

20. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how to respond to these signals, we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals in a uniform way.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the date above, posting the revised policy, or through other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy means the revised Privacy Policy applies, to the extent permitted by law.
