Devices and signing in

A Brevidy account is for one person on up to 2 computers at a time.

Sign in on a new computer#

1. Install Brevidy.
2. Open the Brevidy panel and sign in.

Already on 2 computers? You'll see Device authorization required with This account already has 2 active devices. Deactivate one first.

Deactivate a computer#

1. Go to brevidy.pro/dashboard/account. In the panel, Manage devices opens it.
2. In the Devices card, click Deactivate next to the old computer.
3. Open the Brevidy panel again on the new computer.

• Device must be active for 24 hours before it can be deactivated. Wait 24 hours after the computer was added or reactivated.
• You have reached the device deactivation limit for this 30-day period. You can deactivate up to 3 in any 30 days. Need more? Contact support.

Signing out with Logout doesn't free the computer's slot. Deactivating does.

Change your name or email#

1. Go to brevidy.pro/dashboard/account.
2. Click Change next to your name or email.
3. For a new email, enter the code Brevidy sends to it.

Good to know#

• Keep getting signed out? Set your computer's date and time automatically.
• Couldn't reach Brevidy means no connection right now. Brevidy keeps retrying and you stay signed in.
• The free sample works once per computer, even with a new account. See The free sample.
• On a team, each member has their own account and 2 computers. See Team plans.
