What's new
Captions render through Brevidy's own native Premiere effect, so renders are 10x faster. The new engine is also what makes room for far more caption styles and effects.
Click Captions and a caption layer drops in at the playhead. Drag it over the part you want captioned and hit Create.
Cut, trim, and move clips, then hit Sync. Captions line back up with the audio and only new footage gets transcribed. Transcript fixes carry over to every sequence that uses the same clip.
Save a look as a named style, select words in the transcript, and paint it on. The rail beside the text shows where each style runs, and it survives a Sync.
Glow, long shadow, fire, smoke, embers, snow, god rays, motion blur, and more, stacked from one list. Words can animate in letter by letter too.
Type what you want, or hit the mic and say it. Studio drafts caption looks you can preview, tweak, and keep.
Type a line and Brevidy picks the hero word. Choose a template and it sizes, stacks, and colors every word for you, on any aspect ratio. Every word stays editable after.

Yes. Old Essential Graphics captions still open and edit. Run Sync on one and Brevidy offers to upgrade it to native captions.
Once you've joined, download the installer from this page or your dashboard. If Brevidy is already installed, the panel offers the 2.0 update.
Any time, from Account in your dashboard. Leaving keeps your installed version until the next stable release; going back to an older version means reinstalling it by hand.
